“The key to all problems is the problem of consciousness.” African Proverb

THE HUMAN SUBCONSCIOUS

The Subconscious mind is a Subjective experience and represents the second phase of a mental trinity, accessible only from within. This subjective experience involves the emotional and cognitive influence of the conscious mind on the subconscious, which in turn shapes your circumstances and experiences. Your subconscious automatically processes every aspect of your life based on the inputs received from your conscious observations of the outside world.

When influenced by the conscious mind, the subconscious can be affected by negative programming from any source. Because it is subjective, the subconscious is shaped by personal feelings, tastes, and opinions. Importantly, it cannot reason or differentiate between what is beneficial and what is harmful, what is desired and what is undesired, or what is positive and what is negative. Any thought, message, or command directed at the subconscious, if repeated consistently and convincingly enough, will eventually be accepted and executed without your conscious permission.

The subconscious is also comparable to the soul. For example, consider the perspective of ancient North Africans regarding the soul: “The impious soul screams: I burn; I am ablaze; I know not what to cry or do; wretched me, I am devoured by all the ills that surround me; alas, poor me, I neither see nor hear! This is the soul’s self-chastisement, for the mind of man imposes these torments upon the soul and the subconscious mind.”
