There are two sets of rules or laws, one for the wealthy and one for everybody else, on full display. Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States since 1991, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, one of the most powerful people in the country, has been implicated in an outlandish corruption scandal. Last week ProPublica reported that Thomas has for decades gone on luxury vacations paid for by real-estate billionaire and Republican donor Harlan Crow. Crow is well-known for his efforts to push US courts to the right. Let’s watch and see what happens.
